What happens when you gather the freshest fir, pine, cedar, juniper, winterberries, boxwood, eucalyptus, cones, and other fun materials, plus a wreath base, wire, YOU, and expert instruction on a Sunday afternoon in November? Everyone goes home with a fabulous fresh wreath that will stay vibrant on your door throughout the winter! Join us at Grand River Cellars for Wreaths and Wine on Sunday, November 13th at 2 pm for 90 minutes of creative fun. You’ll learn a simple technique for making this winter wreath from longtime wreath maker, Maggie Fusco of The Wood Road Salad Farm in Madison. Maggie has been making winter wreaths with fresh materials for over 20 years, creating outdoor winter planters for clients in both public and private spaces, and leading workshops for garden clubs. The class is limited to 25. The fee is $50 which includes all materials plus a glass of wine at the end to toast your success!
Finished wreath sizes are 20”-22”. Wreaths made using these materials will look similar but not exactly. Everyone makes it their own!
