These will be all-industry meetings, open to any grower, future winery, winery, or cidery in the state. Each will include a professional development component, industry updates from all who are helping to build our community, relevant information about the ever-growing neo-prohibition movements, and suggestions for programming to deal with the negativity and declining consumption patterns [both in tasting rooms and in the wholesale sector]. Topics to be shared will be developed based on industry input via a survey that will be released shortly and will be posted as they are finalized. While meetings are region-based, all meetings are open to all in the state.
Each day will include a breakfast muffin with coffee or tea, and lunch which will include a glass of wine from the host location. Registration will be $35 a person to cover expenses. Each day will begin at 10.
We will invite some local tourism folks and perhaps some elected officials for a meet and greet. An invitation has been sent to ODLC, OARDC, and the OGIC committee and staff to attend and participate as their schedules permit.
